The Crux

This novel was published in 1911 and authored by the prominent American feminist, sociologist, author, and lecturer Charlotte Perkins Gilman. The novel first appeared in serialized form in the magazine The Forerunner, which Gilman wrote and edited herself from 1909 to 1916.
