Publisher Description
"Fans of spy actioners will revel in this swift-moving adventure and its delightful heroine... a refreshingly modern feminine take on James Bond." --Book Life
Meet Kori Briggs...
...astute, fearless member of an elite and super-secret American intelligence team. A self-described "femme badass," Kori is a highly trained agent, an expert in self-defense, a dedicated Scotch drinker, and a drop-dead beauty whose closest friend is her Glock nine-millimeter Luger.
In this action-packed Kori Briggs debut novel, Kori is on the trail of a madman who has managed to steal a hundred pounds of uranium and, with the help of an equally twisted Russian scientist, is intent on detonating a nuclear bomb somewhere in the world. But when and where?
Come along with Kori on this vicarious thrill ride as she follows clues from Washington, DC to New York City, Russia, Israel, and finally, Paris, the "City of Lights."
There is action, there is romance, there is adventure. And behind it all, there is the incomparable spirit of Kori Briggs.

INTERVIEW WITH THE AUTHOR
Q. Why a female James Bond?
A. There are a lot of great suspense novels and suspense thriller books out there, but a lack, I believe, of really great female spy thrillers. I think the world is ready for a real badass heroine and Kori Briggs fits the bill. She can do it all. And is a fun character to boot.
Q. Will we be seeing more of Kori?
A. Oh, much more. "The Dark Tetrad" is the first of a series of female spy books that feature Kori as the protagonist. Of course, she doesn't do it alone. Her Russian agent sidekick Anya Kovalev will be around to help out and of course she has the backing of the super-secret spy agency she works for. Yes, indeed, there will be many more adventures to come.
Q. How do you develop your plots?
I want the stories to be relevant. Writing a female thriller novel, or any suspense novel, asks the reader, at times, to suspend a little disbelief here and there, but that doesn't mean you can't have a realistic story line. I want my stories to be reflective of the world we live in. The dangers Kori faces are real-world dangers. The Kori Briggs series will consist of political thrillers and crime thrillers, and they need to be genuine. One reviewer of "The Dark Tetrad" said the story could just as easily appear on tomorrow's front page. That was gratifying. That's what I'm going for.
Q. How has the reception been thus far for this debut suspense novel?
Amazing! I've heard from so many people who are ready for the next one to find out what new adventures are in store for Kori. My gratitude to everybody!
