The last book in James Dashner’s dystopian thriller series jumps back in time, filling in gaps in the stories of Thomas’ origins and the creation of the Maze. Dashner is masterful at cranking up suspense, flinging out surprise twists that made our breath catch. Fans will appreciate one last chance to visit with memorable characters from past installments.

I am not a reader but i finished this book in one weekend. I LOVED this book i love the backstory to the maze runner

This book is my favorite of the whole series. It explains so many questions that we have. What was Thomas, Teresa, Newt, Minho, Chuck, Gally, Alby, and others life like before they were sent to the maze? Why has Teresa always been so special to W.I.C.K.E.D. from the beginning of the series? Who is Chancellor Paige? Who is Brenda and Jorge, and answers many other questions! Give the book a five star rating before you even read it, it’s that good.
