APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Mystery maestro James Patterson and former president Bill Clinton team up again for a twisty blend of procedural thriller and political intrigue. President Madeline Parson Wright is juggling reelection and a potentially huge bipartisan reform deal when her husband, former college football star Cole Wright, is suddenly charged with a decades-old murder. The fast-paced narrative alternates between Cole’s fight to clear his name, the state police investigating the homicide, and the perspective of journalist Brea Cooke, whose personal stake in the case is rooted in her time at Dartmouth with Cole and Maddy. There’s courtroom drama, political tension, and plenty of unexpected twists. Patterson’s trademark short chapters keep the whole thing zipping right along. The First Gentleman is pure entertainment and perfect for poolside lounging.
Customer Reviews
Good story
This is a good read that is very one sided politically. Not surprising given the co author. If you can look past the political slant, enjoy the story.
Great Book
Great easy quick reading
Another WH thriller!
I really like this writing duo and their latest collaboration is another hit. This one feels like it might have a sequel coming. 🤞
