This was a good one for Baldacci. I like the protagonist John Puller and will read the other ones in the series. Subject concerns slave trafficking into the US via the south coast of panhandle Florida
Awful waste of money
This book was all over the place. It was badly written, stupid characters, and stupid (if you could follow it) plot. The main character was ridiculous, and the other characters were never developed, more like after thoughts. I read the whole book hoping it may get better or make sense, but that never happened. Total waste of my time and money. I have read all of his books, and they were good. Maybe his kid wrote this one. When I buy a book, especially from an author I respect, I do not expect this kind of writing. I will never buy another book written by him again. I actually read his afterward with him thanking his editor etc. they did not do their jobs. I have not read a book this bad in a long time.
