Edward & Rowen
Rowen Parkes is the oldest sibling. She has three sisters and a brother. Rowen enjoys baking and managing the Broomstick Bakery. Rowen’s speciality is baking cookies infused with magic. Rowen prefers doing things behind the scenes. She does not enjoy working with the public. Christmas is the only time during the year that she goes out to sell their baked goods infused with Christmas cheer at the Christmas Fayre. This year she is grateful to have her younger brother Ash to help her at the Fayre.
At the Christmas Fayre Rowen meets Edward from the mulled wine stall. Edward is helping his brother sell mulled wine. They are both intrigued with each other when they first meet. Edward is ready to date but Rowen is not sure if she is ready. Rowen is indecisive but needs a little push. Edward is perfect for her. Will Rowen acknowledge their connection and realize that Edward is the one? These two make a cute couple. Their courtship is sweet and fun. He is so understanding and compassionate.
This is book three in the Broomstick Bakery series. The characters are wonderful. The interactions between the siblings is enjoyable. This is a marvelous story that takes place during Christmas. The Christmas cheer is magical and puts you in the spirit of the holiday. It was nice to see Ash helping his sister and becoming more involved with the bakery. I look forward to the next book in the series. I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Great Series Addition
I love this series. This entry in particular is great for catching up, as secondary characters in this book appear in earlier books.
The main characters are both strong, delicious, with the setting, emotional journey, and secondary characters providing the right amount of spice to the recipe.
I recommend this for a short, good read when you need a pick me up. I loved how Rowan and Edward intertwine their lives in the spirit of Christmas and the Fayre.
This is a great addition to the series!.

transitions and traditions
When Mickey left to go to the US, it was relatively easy to let him go, and she discovered she did not miss him much
now it seems perhaps theirs was not a true love, at least not the abiding kind
Edward happens to be helping out his brother at their stand
things immediately feel like there is a possibility for more with him
is this her chance for a grown up love? will fear prevent it from blossoming?
as they face several other unexpected challenges together, will they hold fast?
a bit of heat and sweet for a stuffy older sister.
