Captivating read.
This is a pretty fast paced book. I am intrigued by the idea of the “hangman”. I was put off a little at times by the constant bickering between the two main characters.
Nicely paced detective story
Nicely paced with some twists and turns that keep you going. Jake and Jo make a good team, if Jake doesn’t manage to completely screw things up!
Enough characters to keep you guessing early on, but not so many that you have to have a list on the side to keep track of “Who’s - Who”!
Good concept but poor writing
It’s a good idea for a series, just not executed well. The characters are one-dimensional and behave like they are in junior high. There are errors that should be caught before publishing. And the profanity is gratuitous. The story could have been told in one book.
