As a prequel if you don’t have access to The King this is a cliff hanger
Intriguing Introduction (4.5⭐️)
I like this little taste of Saffron and Lachlan’s story. It has the perfect combination of steam, action and suspense to keep you captivated.
It ends on a delicious cliffhanger that has me excited to find out more. I can’t wait for the next book.

They get you hooked on the first half of the book then you PAY for the rest of the story the story was good so far but I'm not gonna know how it ends unfortunately
