The History of the Bossier City Fire Department

From a volunteer fire department with a 1925 Model T Ford truck, which Bossier City children outran to the fire scene, to an ISO rated Class #1 department called upon daily by the citizens of Bossier City to save lives and protect property, this is the historical review of that journey of the initial struggle with limited resources to the achievement of being ranked as one of the preeminent urban departments in the United States.
