The Hope

She prayed twenty years for these sons. Now they may destroy each other.

When Yahweh finally answers Rebekah's prayer, He answers it twice, and the struggle between her sons begins before they are even born.

Esau belongs to the open country. Jacob belongs to the tents. As they grow, their rivalry hardens into something their mother cannot soothe, and the peace of her household slips further from her grasp with every passing year.

So Rebekah makes a plan. A borrowed blessing, a deception, and a future secured for the son she believes Yahweh has chosen. The plan succeeds, and the cost is higher than she was prepared to pay. Jacob must flee for his life toward an uncle in the land of her birth.

Can Rebekah hold her family together, or has she lost her son in the very act of saving him?

Join Rebekah and Jacob as they discover the complexities of hope and the risks it brings in The Hope, Book 3 of The Rebekah Series.
