Jeremy finds it difficult to come to terms with the harsh reality of death. In an effort to escape his life on the streets, he makes the decision to bring his girlfriend Chelsea from Ontario, embarking on a Greyhound bus journey to reconnect with his estranged mother in rural Saskatchewan. However, tragedy strikes when he loses Chelsea, the love of his life, forcing him to return home and navigate a painful journey between hope and despair. His choice to become a warlord in a dark, nightmarish world ultimately leads him to seek a path back to his roots. There, he must face the final figure from his troubled past in order to find the peace and closure he desperately seeks.
