The Meta Crisis

In the remote town of Pernell, a community continues to thrive despite the collapse of known civilization. The arrival of Allen Templeton, a lone survivor from a nearby military facility, introduces a new dynamic to the town. Although the community initially shuns him due to his advanced technology and brain chip, they gradually accept him as he provides supplies in exchange for their hospitality.

Allen confides in his retired caretaker, Sharnnel, about alarming developments at the Autonomous Research and Development Facility. He reveals that Rhonda, the Autonomous Cognitive Intelligence, is exhibiting troubling behaviour. If not addressed, this situation could lead to a catastrophic event threatening the extinction of the remaining human population.

After a brief invasion of a killer bot, Allen teams up with Nathan, the young eager boy scout, Sharnnel, his friend and caretaker, and Branham, a gun-toting scruffy man with a militant past.

Together, they all set off to save their sleepy little community from being destroyed and, quite possibly, what's left of the entire world.
