Storytelling

The one thing Lady Olivia Burnsworth is good at is telling stories. She has used the stories to cover a childhood trauma. Frustrated with the storytelling and her failure to find a husband, her father asks Lady Marigold’s Matchmaking Service to help. Jareth, Marquess of Montroy, meets Olivia at Lady Whitmore’s (Lady Marigold) house party. Jareth believes he will do better in business if the stories and plans he told were better, more interesting attention-getters. They strike a bargain. She will teach him how to tell better stories and he will help her meet the actor she thinks she is in love with. They also agree to a fake engagement to placate her father. Wow! Some plan! Olivia and Jareth have a story that has humor, storytelling, secrets, some mystery, and romance. There are some twists and turns, surprises, growing up, facing problems, and finally a happy ending.
