The Last Hope

We thought we were from Earth. We were wrong.

In the distant Sombrero Galaxy, humanity loses a centuries-long war against the Xenari. With their homeworld gone and their fleet in ruins, the last survivors make a desperate blind jump aboard two ships: the warship The Ayda and the colony vessel The Last Hope.

They do not find safety. They crash on a strange world ruled by monsters and ash — Earth, sixty-five million years before civilisation — and do the only thing left to them: hide, survive, and seed a future that will forget where it came from.

In the present day, an alien artefact buried in the Australian Outback begins transmitting. A second artefact in Antarctica points to the same impossible truth. As governments move to contain the discovery, journalists chase it, scientists decode it, and soldiers die trying to hold the line.

Because the Xenari have found Earth.

And this time, they have returned to finish what they started.
