Rhiann knows that demons walk the night. She has been taught to fear them. But from the moment Cade is dragged before her father's throne, beaten and having lost all of his men to her father's treachery, he stirs something inside her that she has never felt before. An Entertaining Story!
Sarah Woodbury is a wonderful storyteller! I’m so glad her sagas do go on. I appreciate the depth of her caricatures. And the creative way she intertwines history and myth. And the way she brings in romance without the sex. The battles read well, as well as the conversations, and emotions carry too. It has taken me a few chapters to get the feel for her style, but between The Lion Of Wales saga, and this book, I’m a fan!
My first book in a long long long time
It’s pretty good! I love a book that can really take me to the place the characters are in, this book didn’t do that very well. Although it’s a good read so far, I don’t know if it has intrigued me enough to continue with the series. For a free book it’s definitely worth the read. There are also a few grammatical errors, I believe.
