Publisher Description
This Little Black Book is your companion for Lent 2011-2012. It’s an old-fashioned “vade mecum” (pronounced vahday maykum). That’s Latin for “travel with me” and was used to describe a book that was a constant companion – perhaps a condensed book of prayers for traveling priests, or a handbook for quick reference – something you could take with you anywhere.

Great little meditations
Our church gives these out for free. They combine history, trivia, inspiration, and meditation for every one of the 40 days. Glad to see its electronic now.

Fantastic Companion For Lent!
I have been searching for an additional resource for Lent and I think I found it. I am a regular subscriber to Magnificat and the Lenten companion; this is another great resource.
A parishioner in my men's group had a copy of this and brought it to our attention today. This little book is filled with great digital enhancements; notes, font resizing, searching, bookmarks etc. which only adds to its usefulness.
Please publish the little black book for all the liturgical seasons; it's great!
