Publisher Description
When your life is chaotic, what’s one more complication?
Jane Tanner’s friends are settling down, while she’s been settling for less. She longs for adventure and the big city, but caring for her ailing grandfather means she's shackled to her small town. She’s excited her vintage gift shop is finally up and running, but it’s not enough.
Longing to fulfill at least one dream—to become a mother before her biological clock ticks out—Jane drunkenly propositions the worst possible candidate for Dad. Kurt Elway is off-limits with a capital O. He’s a good friend, but he's too young, too busy running his family’s ranch. Plus, he and Jane’s sister, Kate, used to date. That kind of off-limits.
Unbeknownst to Jane, Kurt’s pining for her. When he’s fully on board to father her baby, she sees him in a new light. Then lingering baggage between Kate and Kurt suddenly surfaces and Jane is reminded of just how messy life is. But…so is parenting. Maybe it’s time to embrace the mess?

Love this series!
I speed read through the 3rd book in the Coyote Canyon series. The series surrounds 3 friends living in a small town each owning their own business. This time it’s Jane Tanner turn, owner of a vintage show, caregiver for her grandfather who has dementia and big dreams of leaving the small town behind. As her other friends have settled with the love of their loves and Talulah is pregnant, Jane is also wishing for a baby. The biological clock is ticking and you really don’t need to be in a relationship to get pregnant. Debating the pros and cons of a clinic she decides to ask her friend if he be willing to donate.
Kurt has a crush on his old girlfriend older sister. They been hanging out together lately, but the 5 year age difference between them seems to be an issue with Jane. Plus he did date her sister on and off for a while. So when she asks him to be a sperm donor he has one request, they do it the old fashioned way. Thinking and hoping maybe she would see him in a different light.
The title says it all. Jane has so much going on that she has blinders on to what is really important in life. Love the relationship she has with her grandfather, I can definitely relate with her on the heartbreak of seeing your love one forgetting who you are. That was very well written. This is supposed to be the last in the series, but I do believe Averil has a story to tell. And the are still a couple of brothers, Miles and Ransom needing to find love. #TheMessyLifeofJaneTanner #CoyoteCanyon
The messy life of Jane Tanner
I liked this story, it just dragged on a little to much.
