Great Romance!
Justine and Porter were amazing characters. I love that the author took her time and wrote a slow-burn romance between them. Both these characters imagined different things for their futures; neither looking for a relationship. Justine would soon be leaving town for good; taking a teaching position in Europe. She doesn't have the luxury to start something romantic with Porter when she'd be leaving. Not to mention, due to his past, Porter plans to never marry. So both Porter and Justine decide it's best to remain only friends even though the chemistry and attraction between them is nearly impossible to ignore.
Of course this book has a great ending but I don't want to spoil the journey to that happily-ever-after for you. The Montana Cowboy's heart is an emotional story. There is more going on than simple, sweet romance. I haven't yet read the previous book in The Cole Brother's series but I did read and enjoy book one. The Cole siblings did not have the best of times growing up. As a result of their past, I was all the more satisfied to see how the author gave them the future to look forward to and one they truly deserve. This is a wonderful series and I recommend it. I am definitely looking forward to reading book two.

Good reading
Loved the story of Porter, Justine and Cat. 3 people with abandonment issues to overcome. With simplicity and depth, their stories all came together for a perfect HEA.
