Publisher Description
It’s Jill Shalvis meets Susan Mallery in this gorgeous novel by New York Times bestselling author Lori Wilde about three sisters, one small town, a wedding, and the summer that changes everything.
Welcome to Moonglow Cove, Texas, a place where your neighbors know your name and the gentle waves of the Gulf of Mexico lap lazily against the sands. It’s a magical spot, especially in the summertime…
Once the town was the home of the Clark sisters—brought up by their grandmother at the Moonglow Inn. Nicknamed “The Moonglow Sisters”, as children they were inseparable. Then, a wedding-day betrayal tore them apart and they scattered across the globe and away from each other. But the sisters have at last come home…
There’s Maddie: smart, sensible, and stubborn. Shelley, who ran off to find her bliss. And Gia, a free-spirit determined to keep the peace. It’s her impending wedding that keeps them together…but Gia has a secret, and when her sisters find out all heck is going to break loose!
The Moonglow Sisters continues Lori Wilde’s trademark storytelling to create an unforgettable novel of family, betrayal, love, and second chances.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Wilde (Love of the Game) reunites three estranged sisters in this powerful tale. After Helen Chapman is diagnosed with advanced brain cancer, she becomes even more determined to heal the deep rift among her granddaughters: Madison, the sensible peacemaker; Gia, a free-spirit; and Shelley, who is the most reluctant to reconnect after having left Moonglow Cove, Tex. Helen's dying wish is that her granddaughters return to finish Madison's wedding quilt. When Madison and Shelley balk, Gia invents a fake engagement to hunky next-door neighbor Mike Straus, which starts as a ploy but just might develop into something serious. Both Madison and Shelly are dealing with traumas: TV host Madison is mourning the miscarriage of a child, and Shelley is fleeing a Costa Rican yoga cult. Things become even more strained when the sisters learn that their grandmother has taken a lien against the Moonglow Inn, where they were raised. In coming back together, however, the sisters discover that their bond is more resilient than anyone expected. Wilde's fine characterizations and pulsating plot will please readers who enjoy family sagas.

Emotional, Wonderful read!!
*I won a copy of this book from Goodreads*. The Moonglow Sisters is a beautifully, well written book about three estranged sisters, Maddie, Shelley & Gia trying to mend their relationships to be as close as they once were before “ the incident” at Maddie’s wedding five years ago & finish a quilt for their sick grandmother as one of her last requests to her granddaughters. Gia is the peace keeper trying to convince Maddie & Shelley to work out their differences. Gia lies about being engaged to their neighbor Mike to get the quilt done & give them a reason to stay in Moonglow Cove. They all have their own secrets that eventually come out (including their Grammy). This is a book about second chances & healing. It is a funny, entertaining & emotional book that I highly recommend!! Thanks for the book Goodreads!!
Must read
Two of the Clark sisters left Moonglow Cove, Texas, after the Incident with Raoul. Now five years have passed and Grammy is having surgery and has written a little to Gia, the peacemaker, to get the sisters back together and to finish the wedding quilt. All the sisters have secrets. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say this is one of my favorite reads this year. Grab your copy and see what Madison, Shelley, and Gia are hiding. If you love reading a book about forgiveness with family at the center of it, you won’t be disappointed with this book. I loved how the community came together to help, when it was especially needed. Just wait until you find out what Gia does that shocks Madison and Shelley and really opens their eyes.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
