It Really Is!

This book really is a neat introduction to finance and investing. In a very concise way, the author covers everything from an introduction to the Markets to principles of fundamental analysis, ratios, and dividend discount models. This is followed by a brief introduction to technical analysis, enough to make you want to explore in more depth later. The second part of the book covers the ideas and investment philosophies of a number of the most successful investors and fund managers of the last 40 or so years. This is a very common sense guide to long term, relatively conservative investing, not trading, which are two very different animals. Follow the author's advice, and you will get rich slooooooowly, through good markets and bad, as opposed to the alternative, which is to lose your shirt quickly.
