Architect Beckett Montgomery has had a crush on Clare Brewster since high school, and sparks finally fly between them when Clare gets involved in the work of restoring the historic Maryland hotel. The widowed Clare has a bookstore to run and three small boys to take care of, but Beckett reminds her how to lean on others for help and fall in love again. Roberts paints a charming picture of smalltown life with likable characters, but supernatural thriller elements feel out of place in the bucolic contemporary setting, and too much detail about the nuts and bolts of the inn's restoration slows down the story.

Excellent
As always I'm in love with the characters, the setting and of course the story. It's so good to know that you can count on Nora Roberts to continue to write such amazing stories. The only thing I wish is that I didn't have to wait till next may for the next book.

this book grabs you fro the beginning. Nora Roberts makes you feel like you have know each character and the town all your life. it only took a day and a half to read this amazing book. Nora Roberts is the queen of modern day romance that makes you not only feel like you've known the characters but that you are apart of the story. an amazing book that is a must read for any romance reader. I can't wait for the next two books in this series to come out so I can see how it all ends.

As usual Nora Roberts has written another good book. Her attention to detail is great. Like someone else said it's like your visiting with old friends. Wish I didn't have to wait until May for the next one.
