Always a fun ride!
Things are definitely rough for our beloved profiler in this latest installment- but like all the books before it- I could not put it down.
I felt real anger at the bad guys, Blake gives such genuine emotion it jumps off the page at you! I’m counting the days until the next one!
Don’t miss this or any of the Jesse Hunt series.
B-Rate
I had a lot of difficulty finishing this very short book. For one, I’m not familiar with the Jessie Hunt series. This was my first book, and it sounded like an intriguing story-line, and was supposedly a stand-alone. But I had trouble identifying with the personality of Jessie Hunt. Perhaps because I hadn’t read the previous 28 books, I’m just not familiar with why she comes off as whiny and better than everyone else.
But this book really read like it was just churned out quickly. AI generated, perhaps?
