Publisher Description
European Law and the Equal Pay Directive The most significant employment right is the right to equal pay. This right results from the principle "equal pay for equal work" in according with which individuals doing the same work should receive the same remuneration regardless of their sex, race, sexuality, nationality or anything else. The right to equal pay between men and women is another anti-discrimination measure akin to the right not to suffer discrimination on the grounds of sex.
