Evan: She has no idea who I really am. It's the perfect situation. After an incident that causes me to re-evaluate my life, I've come here to escape the demands of my career. The last thing I expect to find is someone who doesn't see me through the prism of my fame. But then I meet Audrey, who allows me to unleash lustful desires I've suppressed for years.

Audrey: He's uncommonly sexy and brazenly confident. He's exactly who I don't need to meet at this point in my life, but I have no choice. Drawn in by his relentless seduction, I'm soon taking chances I never thought I'd take, shedding my fears and letting him over my protective walls. And there's his unusual "rider list," always surprising me, testing my limits, exploring our fantasies, leading to the most sensual experiences of my life.

What starts as a perfect distraction for both of us quickly becomes an entanglement of scorching hot sex, closely held secrets that could tear it all apart, and moments that will shape us for the rest of our lives.

The Private Guest

Wish the book could have been longer. I enjoyed it but I did notice in a couple of places that the story line didn’t match up. Can’t remember the first spot but the second was when Audrey was at the computer after looking at TMZ and Rolling Stone. Just moments before, Audrey said Sophia was on the deck reading a book but then after the mom came down to talk to Audrey and was on her way back upstairs, she said Sophia was still asleep and wouldn’t come down to disturb Audrey and Evan.

Very odd indeed

I don't read romance novels, and I absolutely hate when an author takes one book and splits that book into quarters or thirds in the name of greed. And very odd indeed that I would give the book four stars. Maybe it's because it reminds me of a past that is now lost in the fog of time, or that some of her written words were things that I've thought or lived. How very odd indeed, that I absolutely enjoyed this book. I do put it on the suggestion list for anyone that enjoys a refreshing romance novel. Warning, none of the characters are overbearing, annoying, mouth breathing troglodytes, they are every type folks. Refreshing really, I think it's the characters that I enjoyed more so than the story.
