Publisher Description
My brother’s best friend, NHL god Easton Scotch, has always seen me as a kid. Now, I’m his new roommate and I’m determined to show him that Claire Merrick is all grown up.
Boston Hawks left wing and bad boy personified, Easton is untouchable, reckless, and sexier than any one man ought to be. He has a complicated past, makes questionable life choices, and doesn’t want anyone growing too close. Least of all me.
East makes himself clear on his first day out of rehab, when we become reluctant roommates. At best, I’m angling for friendship. But soon, East is lowering his guard and we’re bonding.
When we cross a line there’s no coming back from, he spirals, jeopardizing his recovery and my heart. If Easton is the risk taker, then why does it feel like I’m the one gambling it all?

Hot hockey series!
Whew!! This story is hotter than Satan's mixtape! I fell hard for Easton Scotch when he was introduced to us in the first book in this series. Don't worry this can totally be read as a stand alone but do yourself a favor and read both!
This is Easton and Claire's story. An forever crush and a best friend's younger sister are the premises for this newest book in the Boston Hawks series.
Fresh from rehab, Easton is struggling to get back to a new normal. Hockey has been the only constant in his life and he has to fight for his spot back.
Claire has loved Easton for as long as she can remember and she becomes the light to Easton's darkness.
This book is about co-dependency and the effect it has on relationships. Claire and Easton's relationship was insta-love and I could empathize with both of them on managing the bumps and setbacks in their relationship. I applaud how they both fixed each other and themselves.
This series has just been getting better and better! I can't wait for the next story and maybe more! There's a couple of players I have my eye on!
Fun series!
Kudos to Gina Azzi for making a real life situation in this story not just another substance abuse tale but a story of recovering and hope.
When Easton comes out of rehab and has to try to beat his alcoholism alone, Indy gives him the best solution so he doesn’t have to be alone.
Claire needs to move in and get out of her parents house and if she wants to be completely honest, she’s loved Easton (her brothers best friend ) for as long as she can remember.
What could go wrong?
There’s a nice balance between these characters and you definitely will love them!
We get to see how Indy and Noah are progressing and we get a little glimpse at Rielle and Torsten who will add to the next installment of this fun series!
