Slow start, but great read overall.
A fresh story in romantasy
Really enjoyed this book. Well written with a fleshed-out world. The romance & smut is there but doesn’t overpower the story, which is refreshing. I also like that the romance took some unexpected turns, it wasn’t so predictable as is typical for this genre. I really liked Silla as a main character, I thought it was really enjoyable to have a FMC who actually felt like a real person and wasn’t miraculously a skilled warrior from the start. I also thought her optimistic personality was enjoyable. Excited to read the next book!
