Absolutely LOVE Ranger’s Apprentice + The Royal Ranger. John Flanagan is definitely one of my favorite authors. Great job John! Keep up the good writing! God bless you!
Jumping the shark
This book feels like it was written by a different person. Seems as though they threw some new concepts out in an attempt to be interesting but failed miserably. Don’t waste your time, this will just disappoint you. It’s missing all the magic of the previous books while having too much actual magic.
Not his best work…
I am a diehard Ranger’s Apprentice fan. I’ve been reading for years now and love all the characters (except ppl like Morgarath)! I was really excited when this next book came out because ITS THE RANGER’S APPRENTICE!!!
However…. was not really happy with it. It seemed rushed and honestly like a short story. He barely mentioned Halt (that’s more personal😂)
Like all books, it was well written but the content of it was not the best
It’s very supernatural and believe me when I say, do not play with demons.
It’s other worldly and not to be messed with
What I’ve always liked about Ranger’s Apprentice is that there is no magic and no spells. It’s just skills and useful knowledge (i couldn’t tell you port from starboard before I read his series) In this book, it was all very magical, not really anything like the originals.
Hope he comes out with something more exciting soon!
