Publisher Description
In the kingdom of Allay, Sages are born.
Powerful warriors with supernatural abilities that would rival the strength of whole armies. And there is an academy that trains such warriors, forging them out of young, ordinary students and casting them to the cold unknown. Few survive, but if there is any hope for this now desolate kingdom, the tests must be given to all that enter its walls.
One such student is James, a self-proclaimed slacker that has just been forced into the academy by his father. And if he plans to see another day, he will have to weather through four lessons in life: determination, maturity, trust, and love...
The Five Kingdoms Trilogy contains all three of this fast-paced adventure tale: The Last of the Sages, The Dark Kingdom, and Hail to the Queen in their entirety. This is Books 1-3 of the Sage Saga.

Customer Reviews
Poorly written
First of all these books are fast paced… so fast paced that they blow right by character development relationship building, and world building. The main character is a slacker until he isn’t the next chapter. It’s like every chapter he’s just a whole new character with no explanation other than the author wanted him to be. I wouldn’t call the story predictable because the plot is just a chaotic mess of “now this is happening”. If you want something to read that requires no thought then this one is for you. If you go into this one with the holes of it being an epic fantasy with depth, then you will be severely disappointed.
