The Secret Cave

The second book of the "Mountain Adventure" series.
Three kids become lost is the woods while looking for a baby dragon discovered last summer. He lives in a secret cave deep up in water canyon. But when they learn that they are being stocked by a hungry bear, the game changes to one of survival. Nancy teaches her little brothers the skills needed to keep warm, stay fed and find there way home. Then just before Danny becomes dinner, Sammy saves the Day. Soon afterwards, they three are introduce to the magical secret cave, where you can eat the rainbows and talk to the stepping stones. Water slides run in reverse water fairies live in the creek. This is Sammy's home, and it was his mothers home over 400 years ago, before the dragon slayers came looking for her.
