Engaging fast paced read, romance, action, mystery sci-fi setting, prestigious school setting
This book is great, if you feel that there are gaps of knowledge about the story read into the second book where a lot is revealed. This is not my typical genre of book at all… I absolutely LOVED it. The mystery is perfectly fast paced as answers are revealed in a wonderful fast timing. Action, romance, drama, mystery, but the type of drama that gets handled quickly, the type of mystery that gets handled quickly. Characters are easy to like, easy to follow, takes place in a sci-fi futuristic setting where clones are modern day occurrences. The love story is interesting, but not over the top, full circle of love story is revealed in second book. Highly recommend. At first glance did not think I’d be that into it, but so glad I gave this title a chance.
Amazing
It was such a good book.
Great Potential
This book had a lot of potential, the storyline was intriguing and it could’ve been amazing. However, the execution was not great. There was no real world building to help understand this “future” setting or character development to help you connect with the leads. I felt that it just didn’t compare as well to some other YA fantasy/fiction reads that have those elements. The story pacing was also off. But the mystery aspect was well built for the most part, it’s predictable, but still well thought out.
