Ok book. Not based on real life in the BDSM world. I don’t understand why all these stories are written where the man chases after the women like they can’t find someone else. They are not dominate they just seem desperate.
Walked the line
We were left with such a cliffhanger with book one I had to immediately jump into book two and I finished in a few hours. Where I would call book one a romantic suspense book two is straight Erotica. Scorching, panty melting erotica! Oh my!
Sweden bordered on the point of almost having too much sex and not enough story in book 2. She laid out so much of the plot in book one. The problem with this, is the sex scenes can become dull and pointless to the story. It was close to that point of, anymore sex scenes and I would have skimmed. It’s a fine line on erotica, when there is too much sex and not enough story. Sweden walked that line with book two.
The overall story was well thought out and the characters were amazing. The relationship between Nolan and Lola was predictable yet fascinating. Like book one it was hard to put myself in that headspace of true yet reluctant submissive. The overbearing Neanderthal behavior is fine in the bedroom but anywhere else, nut punch city. I will admit I had no idea who the bad guy was and I loved that. That is what makes the book a great suspense....Sara
