The Stacey McKellar Rule Book

For a few minutes Stacey McKellar felt like she had everything - the book she had written was becoming a movie. The subject matter - drunk driving was difficult and Stacey has strong feelings about it because of an event that happened years ago. So, when Graham Thomson shows up on the movie set and Stacey overhears him telling his friend about driving drunk the night before, Stacey goes ballistic and breaks off their relationship. He pleads for forgiveness but Stacey cannot forgive him because her book and her movie – Instantly – holds the perils of driving drunk at its center and Graham’s poor choices make her question her ability as a writer. The problem is Stacey is unable to get over her relationship with Graham the way she has with other men who have wronged her in the past. Stacey lives by something she and her sister have dubbed “The Stacey McKellar Rule Book.” Can Stacey break her own rules in order to let love into her life?
