Now an Original Series on Prime Video!
Belly has an unforgettable summer in this stunning start to the Summer I Turned Pretty series from the New York Times bestselling author of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Jenny Han.
Some summers are just destined to be pretty.
Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer—they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one wonderful and terrible summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.
APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
During her family’s beach-house summers, Belly has always been treated like the tagalong little kid playing in the sand. Skinny and awkward, she’s left out, teased, or ignored by the teens a year or two older than her. But the summer Belly turns sixteen, all that changes. Will she choose moody, confusing, sometimes cruel Conrad or fun, thoughtful Jeremiah? If you loved Jenny Han’s utterly charming To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, you should pick up this first in a trilogy about what happens when what grade you’re in starts to matter a little less.
Some books just can't be topped. Every time I read it I get butterflies and cry and laugh along with it the whole time. I just can't believe a book could make me feel like this does. Read the book, it will change your life. Thank you Jenny Han and most of all Belly.
