Publisher Description

This is the next 45-page report from the team behind the SOFREP website.

Written by the team of Special Operations veterans at SOFREP, THE SYRIA REPORT is a behind-the-scenes look at the roots of the drama and unrest that is unfolding in Syria. Based on information from sources within the intelligence community, using historical case studies and on-the-ground assets, author Kerry Patton reveals the secret history of U.S. involvement in the Middle East: from the United States' former alliance with Iran post-WWII, to clandestine operations involving Saudi princes, to the intricacies of the Iran-Contra Affair, to the overthrow of Qaddafi in Libya—this is a fascinating, never-before-told insider account.

It's about time

Every single American should read this book right now. I have seen and read volumes, perhaps an entire library, on the subjects covered in this report over the past thirty years. Never has any work put it all into perspective as straight ahead, clearly and succinctly as this hundred seventeen pages. Bravo Kerry. I salute you SOFREP.
