Alice Lakeman looked at the tiny record in her hands and felt stable.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her hilly surroundings. She had always loved idyllic Madrid with its ugliest, unkempt umbrellas. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel stable.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Jenna Thomas. Jenna was a forgetful banker with fragile fingers and sticky spots.
