I love R.K Lilley not only for having the same name as me, but because her writing never disappoints. I hope The Wild Side continues as a trilogy. 💜
A fantasy come true for some men who desire a younger girl.
R.K. Lilley likes to write about sexual fantasies involving dominant wealthy men and submissive jealous women. She also likes to end her stories with them breaking up at the end and turning it into a series. She also likes to write about characters who can open up to each other and feel comfortable talking about anything without fear. Young women tend to be he ammo. These are the typical patterns I have found in reading her books so far. She likes men to NEED women and beg for forgiveness. She definitely likes to write stories about toxic relationships. She likes men who do not understand how good they have it or appreciate what they have until it's gone.
This story is very sexual. The story spends a great deal of time making sure to compliment Dair. Dair feels like an inadequate lover, yet Iris claims differently. Apparently, Dair even at forty can please a twenty-four year old lady. Iris is a wild child that wants Dair.
The story is lacking character development. It's just a story about an older man who was deprived of fun sex in a long and boring marriage. I feel like this story is trying to give marriage a bad name. This story will appeal to older men who seek the sexual fantasy of shagging a younger person.
The story is about Iris making Dair feel desirable. There is just too much sex. Apparently, Dair is making up for all those years of not having sex in his marriage. Sex seems to be the only thing Dair and Iris want from each other. When relationships form and responsibilities are developed then the sex takes a back seat to these priorities. Without these priorities Dair can just focus on the sex. Dair is an established man.
