Rob Brace’s wife is dead following a mysterious yacht explosion—revenge for a bloody raid he led decades before, no doubt. 

As Allied armies closed on Berlin, David Windsor, who had once ruled an empire as King Edward VIII of England, is kidnapped. Ordered to free the Duke of Windsor from a band of rebels, Brace, then an MI6 agent, returns to his boyhood home in the British Virgin Islands and to an old flame.  The pair soon discover others are also obsessed with the royal’s welfare.

While Brace stitches back together the WWII mission, vowing to avenge her murder, violence continues to stalk him.
