Customer Reviews
Short book series beginners all in one
“Witch Ways” has multiple misquoting’s of the bible although very similar and was very slow read it just put an itch I couldn’t scratch. I skipped reading that one. The rest of the books were great.
An interesting set of stories.
This set of books is a difficult read. Book 1 (Dark Angel - Christine Pope), is really part of of three. Ends mid scene. Book 2 (Sacrifice Me - Sarra Cannon) was long, and good, with too much indecent exposure. Book 3 (Magic In The Blood - Kat Parrish) is written in first person, and has some severe abuse scenes that need a warning before they occur. Way too much Spanish, and difficult to guess names and words in the third book. Book 4 (Elemental Arcane - Phaedra Weldon), was okay, it really felt off, as if plot twists were added after the fact, and not written in. Elemental Arcane, Book 5, (Sweet Desire - Stacy Claflin), really good. Except the witches living centuries, and returning from the dead part. Book 6, (Crescent Calling - Nicole R Taylor) ends at the beginning of a new chapter. Noresolution. Book 7 (BloodSick - Melissa F Olsen) novel is a trauma fest that needs multiple trigger warnings. Gives nightmares. Did not finish. Book 8 (Witch Ways - Katie Tate) Good. Book 9 (Shades Of Magic - Julia Crane) okay so far. I don't like some of their magical world choices. Unsatisfying ending. Book 10 (Caged Wolf - SM Reine) indecent beginning. A witch in the wild west setup.

It was a very interesting set of stories except for , Sweet Desire. The main character was very whiney and lack the backbone of a strong person. Expecting others to do for you and whining when things don’t work out is boring.
I enjoyed the other stories and now read the works by some of them as their writing was excellent! Phaedra Weldon’s story was excellent , I read the rest of the books in the series! SM Reines’ was a story had not read for a while and I enjoyed reading it again! Christine’s Pope’s was excellent and I read a couple more in the series. You might enjoy the book as I ddI except for one story.
