Publisher Description

The following is an account of my journeys throughout the world. What started off as a couple of months to get away for an adventure turned into a ten-year journey of learning, enlightenment, hard times, and moments that will never leave me, including times of joy, sorrow, love, pain, near-death experiences, and experiences nearly worth dying for.

During that time, I travelled to over 60 countries, set foot on every continent, including Antarctica; worked in over half a dozen countries; and saw relics from ancient civilisations and technological marvels of the modern world. I saw the highest peak on earth, the lowest valley, and so much in between. I visited places where they had never seen a white man before and countries ruled by governances ranging from democracies to theocracies to military regimes. I saw the cruelty that humanity can have for each other as well as the love that can bind us all. I fell in love, had my heart broken a few times, and broke a few hearts of my own.

Ten years, 7 continents and 63 countries!!!

I experienced this read as a candid conversation with an engaging, kind, adventurous, intelligent, humble person who had lived a life quite different from my own. I was enthralled by these tales of globetrotting adventures and simply couldn't put it down! The book provide a great lesson in what life could be like if one avoids the routine and doesn’t fear the unknown.

This book is extremely fun to read. And to think it is a true story makes it even better. A must read!!!

The journey of a lifetime!

This is not a book to be read in a rush. This is the author’s own story, consider it a journey to be enjoyed, to be savored page by page. Adam’s adventures speak for themselves: always interesting, sometimes educational and often downright exciting! This is a great book for anyone who loves to really live life outside the box. I can't wait for the sequel!

Wonderful read

As a traveler, I found this book to be a wonderful read. If you ever wanted to be an adventurer but just couldn’t, this book is a must! Excitement, strange lands and all sort of people talking loud on every page. I wonder how many would love to live this lifestyle but couldn't even imagine doing it...???

I think this book would appeal greatly to anyone who has travelled and even more to people who have not. Arm chair travelers will experience the thrill of exotic lands and also broad smiles will cross their faces as they re-live Adam's adventures through his book.

I strongly recommend! :)
