This was my first Delores Fossen book. I loved the characters and the story but it did not hold my attention. I wanted to love this book because of the main characters and secondary characters but I didn't. Clay McKinnon sexy and serious police chief has to many things going on in his life to get involved with Sophie Granger even if she offers a no strings affair. They are just to different for anything to work out and they both have way to much baggage. It's to bad they can't keep their hands off each other.
Like I said I truly liked the characters so I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I need to know what happens with Sophie's brothers.
