In this coming of age debut trilogy, USA Today bestseller Micah Caida turns pre-dystopian young adult fiction on its ear with a breathtakingly fresh science fiction, fantasy story that is as much a thriller as it does a romantic tale.
Rayen’s memory is blank. Her future's in question. Her power is dangerous.
I awoke in an unknown desert landscape that seemed familiar, yet I had no real memory of this place or…who I am. A strange ghost told me my name is Rayen and that I’m seventeen, but he disappeared just as I could have used some help. I was captured along with others my age who said the land was called Albuquerque, then I was dropped at a private school where at times things seem as familiar as the nearby mountain range and as alien as the image of my face. Everyone thinks I’m a Native American runaway, whatever that is, but the school has offered me a place until they learn my true identity, or my memory returns. As if things weren’t confusing enough, when I'm stuck working with a smart-mouthed computer savvy boy and meet a strange, but gifted, oddball girl, the three of us discover a secret that will threaten the existence of this world - and the future. In the middle of all that, I'm turned inside out by a seventeen-year-old boy who is as deadly as he is attractive and thinks I’m the enemy.

“I thought Time Trap's unique world was very fresh and very interesting. The history behind the characters gave them good depth and they all had nicely different personalities. Cool characters, cool plot, cool conflict. Nicely paced too, I was never bored.” ~~Emily Gifford, 16, Newark NY read the Inheritance Cycle, Harry Potter, Green Rider series
I have to agree with other reviewer’s who said this is unlike any book that they have read before. The author wrote a truly unique time travel story that has caught my interest and kept me reading from beginning to end in one go. I look forward to reading the rest of the story.
I have one reservation about this book though, it has plenty of profanity in it. Therefore, I won’t be recommending it to my children or anyone else that I know. Too bad; it’s such a good story.
Well i have read many supernatural, SYFY, action adventure such as the hunger games trilogy, Vladimir tod chronicles, the chronicles of Nick, all the Kane and Percy Jackson chronicals and currently the first Harry potter book to name a few of the series i have read. And this is one of my favorite books i have read this far! I had watched the movie autobiography of jk Rowling and as a women said for it i could not put this down. As i flipped through each page i found my self there on the planet and i saw them all in my mind and heart i can say they all found a way into my heart even Jersey jerk lol. The plot was good but this is my opinion an doesn't really matter i have hated how authors put in the books what the bad guys are doing and saying! It takes away some of the mystery in the story. Like if you had only add the part at the end i would have been happy and stuff an in my opinion you could become a better author then JK! but we have a problem well i do because i do not have the money for the second book! An i am foaming at the mouth for book two i would do anything in order to read the second book an third!
Todd read. First book. Looking forward to reading the rest.
