Daisy's jarring appearances and flat wisecracks make for an unfortunate juxtaposition with Valerian's sophisticated polish, but Miller (For All Eternity) compensates for this with her engrossing historical characters and period atmosphere.

Only downside is the consistent typos throughout the whole series.
