I loved this book even with two murders an emotional cruelty.
Marcia, an emotional support trainer for PTSD veterans, is called to pick up one of her dogs at the sheriff’s office after the wife of one of her clients was murdered. She didn’t believe he could have hurt his wife and thought the sheriff’s department had basically already convicted him. Marcia then decided to investigate despite the sheriff warning her not to. Lots of things started happening to her and excitement increased. You really need to read this book and the rest of the series.
Great story
I didn’t like the collateral damage but I did like the dog, trainer, and sheriff.

This is a fast paced, action packed story with many twists and turns which keep you guessing. All the characters are vivid, colorful and well defined. Captivating writing, vivid description,
murder, mystery, mayhem, a engaging plot, thrills, chills with unexpected twists makes this a good book to read.
Learning about training service dogs is an added feature.
