Olivia and Tyler
Olivia and Tyler are a couple years in the making. They’ve grown up together, and as her brother’s life long best friend, they’re practically family. But they definitely don’t feel familial towards one another. When Olivia’s brother and Tyler come visiting from Florida, Olivia’s at a point where she wants a serious relationship. To do that, she feels the need to move past her long held crush on Tyler because as a player, he’s not in the running for what she wants. Too bad Tyler has other plans.
Immature Characters
Wow! I was very disappointed in this book. The characters were very immature. It was written as though they were high schoolers, not almost 30 year old adults. Very unexpected coming from J. S. Cooper.
I will not bother reading Birdy’s story after reading Olivia’s. So, so disappointing.
Fun & sizzling!
This was a lot of fun! This was the 4th book in the series, and surprisingly the first one I read. I own the others, but this one was the first. And it was a fun way to jump in. Olivia is living in San Francisco, and her brother Derrick & his best friend Tyler are coming out to visit. She’s always had strong feelings about Tyler, ever since they were kids. Turns out, Tyler has felt the same way about her all these years. And when Derrick meets up with a girl he’s been chatting with online, Tyler takes it the perfect opportunity to get closer to Olivia & let her know how he really feels. Their banter & fighting was fun, and their chemistry was smoking. Very much enjoyed this!!
