Love the author, buuuuuuut…….
Ok so Chloe Walsh has always given me the toxic, bully vibes that I love to hate. Like a tooth ache that hurts so good you just can’t help but clench your jaw.
And I loved Waiting Game (the first part of Daryl and Molly’s story/ second book in the series) but this one almost seemed like she took an extremely long break in between writing their first book, and this one. Some of the timeline didn’t match up, character behavior just didn’t align, that type of stuff. There is also quite a bit of spelling, grammar errors like the book wasn’t proof read that last time before submission.

Regardless of anything that may have dropped a star for me, I’ll always recommend Chloe Walsh books, she grabs you in, makes you feel everything and love the characters, gives an ammmmmazing music playlist (mentioned in moments throughout her books) and gives the characters a beautiful HEA, even if it hurts.
