Opposites definitely attract in this witty and upbeat romantic comedy. When engineer Mara isn’t dealing with office politics at her job with the Environmental Protection Agency, she’s binge-watching The Bachelor and eating Chinese food. The last person she’d want to spend time with is Liam, an uptight, emotionally distant lawyer who works for an unscrupulous oil company—but unfortunately, he’s her roommate. Ali Hazelwood gives her two leads so much charm, you can’t help but root for them to get along. Mara’s internal monologues are funny and relatable, and Liam is a sexy, well-rounded love interest. If you like your romance heroines to be funny, feisty, and feminist, Under One Roof is just what you’re looking for.

Short and Sweet
Fun, quick read.
Pretty good apart from the ending
The beginning of the book was great, the writing was good the characters were well composed and I liked seeing their development throughout the book. My only issue it is that the ending was extremely abrupt, it was going nice and slow but then all of a sudden when the book gets out of the flash back, their relationship just speeds up and there is the end.
