A woman stumbles into happiness with the sort of man she never wanted to be involved with in this witty, fast-paced romantic comedy. Clementine Monroe is the daughter of a bed-hopping rock star who was barely present for her childhood, and while her two sisters are in the family business, she very deliberately is not. After Clementine is dumped by her fiancé, her sister offers her a high-paying short-term gig as a live-in assistant to a musician writing his next album. It sounds like a great idea while she’s getting back on her feet—until it turns out the ridiculously handsome Theo Eliott is the guy with whom she recently had a postbreakup one-night stand. Author Laura Wood draws her characters beautifully, making Clementine and Theo charming in very different ways, and delivers abundant celebrity glamour along with some steamy love scenes. If you want a light and fun beach read with a dash of spice, look no further.

Music and magic
When Clemmie is dumped, fired and down on her luck, she meets a sexy stranger Theo at a funeral who just happens to be a world class/ex boy band musician. But her past with musicians (rockstar deadbeat father and an ex-bf) leads her to want to stay away from Theo. But a job opportunity puts them alone together for 6 weeks and the chemistry is undeniable. So cute and fun! The chemistry is palpable, the yearning hot and even though clemmie *definitely* should’ve known who Theo is, it’s fun to see them deal with the fame/celebrity aspect of their relationship.
Amazing Book
Love the story line, great sense of humor, you could see this story in the movie as you are reading it. You cannot wait to see what happens next. I just wish there is more after the book ended. I could see different possibilities to extend this book
