She moved to a fifty-five and older community intending to enjoy an early retirement – instead she found love!
Julie
My kids think I'm crazy moving to the Silver Falls Active Living Community after my job offers me a buyout to retire early. They don't understand my need to downsize and enjoy a simple, uncomplicated life. After a lifetime of working fulltime and taking care of my kids as a single mom, I'm ready for some "me time".
I soon learn that Silver Falls is nicknamed "Silver Fox Falls" due to the abundance of handsome older bachelors. But I'm not interested in romance, especially with the charming and annoying guy I keep bumping into everywhere I go.
Dante
I've gone sixty years without being hit by Cupid's bow, but the minute I spill my drink on Julie I know she's the woman I've been waiting for my entire life. She doesn't seem to like me, but I'm determined to change her mind. After all, I'm good looking, rich, and I'm a great cook. Most people would consider me a good catch.
When I finally convince her to go out with me, I pull out of the stops to make her fall in love with me. Christmas is coming, and I only want one thing from Santa: Julie for my bride.
Welcome to Silver Fox Falls, where residents soon learn that midlife is the best time to find true love. Expect spunky and independent women, charming and sexy older men, and nosy neighbors who are intent on matchmaking to help get their friends to a sweet happily ever after.
Customer Reviews
Mature romance
Loved how this one starts off with a bang, fantastic characters with a great storyline. Enjoyed this mature romance as they both learn to navigate a relationship later in life, dealing with children, past hurts and the newness of exploring new possibilities.

Loved it!
I loved Unexpected Gift: A Midlife Holiday Romance Book 1 of Silver Fox Falls Midlife Romance. What a sweet story. Gives hope to us older generation. Julie just moved into a 55 and older community. Meeting Dante wasn’t what she was expecting, especially when the first few meetings were pretty bad. Thankfully, he was persistent. This is a short and sweet story about two older people finding love and overcoming some insecurities to trust their love. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book.
