Unfold

i unfolded, thawed, felt the burden of exposure.
i was seen, and it hurt.
i was see-through, blanketing the sidewalk, ready for the sun.

talking about what hurts has only left me blue in the face. i want to snatch the grief by the roots and pull to find where it all began. through poetry and short essays, unfold shows that true growth comes from being unafraid to face what's hidden inside, to be vulnerable, and to be unashamed of what we find when we finally open up.
