Publisher Description
“Emma Jameson is one talented writer. Untrue Blue is her best yet. I am usually a chapter-every-few-days reader. Not with this book. It is a rare writer who can combine twists and surprises, happiness and sadness all in one book.”—from Reader Review
For Lord Anthony Hetheridge, this wet April should be brimming with promise. His wife, Kate, is on bed rest for the final month of her pregnancy, and his friend DI Deepal "Paul" Bhar has just welcomed his firstborn, a darling baby girl. Wellegrave House is beautifully restored, and the Hetheridges are back where they belong, in the heart of Mayfair. But inside Scotland Yard, the institution Tony served with unwavering dedication, something is terribly amiss.
When the lifeless body of Tony's former protégé, DC Amelia Gulls, is discovered in her flat, suspicion quickly falls on her boyfriend, DC Sean Kincaid. Paul urgently enlists Tony's expertise for the investigation, but the deeper they dig, the more questions arise. Before her untimely death, Gulls had been working on three perplexing cold cases: a mistress hurled from her fourth-floor love nest, a university student who drowned in the Thames, and a retired detective's drug-addicted son found dead beneath a tree. As Tony unravels these seemingly unconnected mysteries, he inches closer to a stunning truth—and a perilous confrontation.
Untrue Blue is the electrifying seventh installment in the acclaimed Lord & Lady Hetheridge Mystery Series. Packed with great characters and baffling clues, it will keep you enthralled to the very last word.

Untrue blue
I’ve enjoyed all these books. Easy to read and fascinating characters. Keep them coming.
Untrue Blue
Great story. Just love Emma’s books.
Best of times, worst of times
This book killed off some of the characters I had really gotten to know and so it felt very bad and sad to me. Then of course the best of times as Tony and Kate progress on with living their lives. Can't wait to see Henry grow, what a joy of a kid. Hooked into his phone like all the Ys and Zs.
It was kind of fun the way Ms. James hinged the two cold cases to each other to reach a solution to each of them.
And Kate solved the last one from watching old horror films…
To best enjoy this book and the others in the series, it is better to read them in sequential order. And now we get to read 8. I hope 8 is great.
